The Uprising of Draw Your World!

The Uprising of Draw Your World!

The ESL Spring Season has finally concluded well into the summer period in which the Day of Defeat Source scene tends to deteriorate. Most teams take a laidback approach during the summer months only taking part in minor night-cups and actively pursuing other interests. However

in recent weeks we have seen the launch of our very own www.firstfrag.org competition website, zeroPoint! Gaming has announced a summer series of night-cups and no doubt the ESL admins will have something planned in order to combat the in-activity through this tough time.

On top of the small influx of recent competitions arising it seems a few people are starting to stand up and take an interest. Over the past couple of years we have seen very few dominant Spanish teams with only one in my opinion standing head and shoulders above the rest, k1ck. In respect with the Spanish scene a few former National Team members have grouped together to make what I believe could be a little destructive force providing they practice well.

Crom1 initially put the team together mainly for fun but then a few other players made their feelings known and before you know it a very strong looking team was formed. Looking at the lineup of the squad there is a hell of a lot of talent and potential in there, the rifles are looking particularly strong with arthAs, hispan0 and j0se (formally sinhacker) providing the spearhead of their attack. I would like to now officially announce the lineup of the newly formed Spanish team Draw Your World:

Gabriel 'Hispan0' Hernández
José Manuel 'j0se' López
Jordi 'arthAs' Prats

Julio 'crom1' Oviedo Olmedo
Jose 'jussepe'

Jesus 'Dablaa' Lopez

Here is a statement from Draw your Word Sniper Jesus 'Dablaa' Lopez:
‘First of all thank you LUK3 for the interview, at the beginning the team started out as a "friend team" because some of us have not anything to do during the summer, so we decided to create a team. A few weeks later some players from our previous teams decided to come back to the play ¿seriously? Therefore the team appearance changed and we started to train some maps. Nowadays we think we are able to compete to Premier standard in the upcoming Summer Cup (if it finally takes place)’
